Usually I’d hangout on the internet but I can’t tonight.
It’s Rollout week at J, Crew. Tomorrow/today I’m going in at 8 a.m. to prep* for the new merchandise.
*Prep= moving our current merchandise around and changing the layout of the store.
On Monday we get and put out the new merchandise. I’m going in at 10.
On Tuesday it’s our Men’s Rollout. We get in new merchandise and change the layout of the Men’s store…. We’ll also be having our Women’s event at this time which means our customer will officially shop all of our new women’s merchandise. I go in at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
Wednesday is our Men’s event. I’m off! Thankfully.
People really don’t understand the amount of work that goes into working retail. The next time you go into a retail store just realize there are no magical elves that do the work for that store. That associate who you were rude to has to do all that work. They also have to clean up after you.
